The Cumberland Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge is a challenge for entrepreneurs ages 17 and under that are either starting a business or expanding an existing business in Cumberland County.

Skills for hire is a digital skills and career building training program for those interested in a career in tech. They offer many free, self-directed learning programs to provide you with the skills to enter the tech workforce.

Skills Canada Nova Scotia (SkillsNS.ca) helps youth explore skilled trades and technology careers through hands-on programs, workshops, and competitions. It gives students real-world experience, builds confidence, and shows them practical career paths that can lead to apprenticeships, training, and in-demand jobs after school.

The Northern Connector is a networking program that matches established business and community leaders (Connectors) with recent graduates of post-secondary institutions (Connectees). These connections increase Connectees likelihood of getting MEANINGFUL employment and beginning their career here in Cumberland.
