For over 50 years, the Nova Scotia Timber Loan Board has been supporting the province’s forestry industry with a focus on the growth of a sustainable forest sector. 

 Maple producers in Cumberland County play an important role in the local agricultural economy, supported by the region’s long-standing maple syrup production. 

Cumberland County is home to 14% of all Nova Scotia farms, and has 30% of all Class II soils in the province. It's the perfect place to grow an agriculture business in Canada!
